Board Exam SSC Part 1: A Helpful Post For Fresh Students

First time taking a board examination? Yes, it might be overwhelming for freshers but there is a first time for everything. Once the excitement sets in, the sooner the better. You can get prepared for it.

Let us start by knowing every matrix that there is for a better understanding of where you stand and what should be your go-to strategy for proceeding.  

INTRO:

In Pakistan, we have a basic education structure that shapes our students to be able to challenge their knowledge and stand up to be tested at large. Therefore, there are several boards representing a geographical sort out of pupils. SSC (Secondary School Certificate) is the first board-oriented challenge that newcomers face so some people find it overwhelming. However, the feeling sheds away the sooner you realize the practicality of the outcome.

To clear your SSC; which is divided into two parts 1 and 2 (9th and 10th) class nine is the first step. Coping which you can level up to the second part. SSC (parts 1 & 2) examinations are conducted once a year. 9th grade offers a combination of compulsory and electives or optional subjects.

There are primarily three characterizations i.e. Arts, Commerce, and Science (Medical and computers), and a range of subjects are provided to choose from. The students must study eight subjects generally in class 9th comprising four compulsory subjects and four elective or optional subjects for all boards. Since the compulsory subjects are the same throughout, optional subjects are more or less the same except for Punjab Board.

The passing mark in the 9th class 2022 is 182/550 which means the passing percentage is 33%. For class nine total marks are 550. The students must know the total number of 9th class so they can prepare for their exams according to SSC part 1 total marks.

Here is the list of compulsory subjects which are a compulsion for both disciplines (Arts and Science) summing a total of 250 marks. For English, designated marks are 100 for BSEK. The marks distribution of the subjects of SSC Part 1/Class 9 different boards in Karachi are following.

Mostly Schools enroll their students in a board operating in a particular vicinity. Perhaps you might not get to choose your board but it is always imperative to know what the differences are; although there may be very minute differences owing to cultural relevance. Since the compulsory subjects are the same throughout, optional subjects are more or less the same except for Punjab Board. 

What you can do as a student; aiming to get a good result is to make a plan for the board exam and schedule it according to your requirements.
